Does your business show up in ChatGPT?

People now ask AI assistants where to go. Here is a ten-minute way to see what they say about you.

The five questions

Open ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Perplexity. In each, ask these, using your own business and area:

  1. The discovery question. “Best dentist in Andheri West, Mumbai” (or salon, or café for your area).
  2. The name question. “Tell me about Bloom Dental Studio in Andheri West.”
  3. The hours question. “Is Bloom Dental Studio open on Sunday?”
  4. The price question. “How much is a root canal at Bloom Dental Studio?”
  5. The contact question. “What is the phone number and address of Bloom Dental Studio?”

How to read the answers

For each answer, write down one of three things: named and right, named and wrong, or not named. Wrong hours and old prices are the most common failure, and the most costly: a customer who is told you are open on Sunday and finds the shutter down does not come back.

Answers change from day to day and from person to person, so treat this as a snapshot, not a score. Repeat it once a month.

If you are not named, or named wrong

An AI assistant can only quote what it can read. So the fix is to make your facts easy to read, in one place, the same everywhere: your name, address, phone, hours and prices on your website as plain text, the same facts in structured data, and the same facts on your Google listing and Instagram.

The free checker reads your website the way these tools do and tells you what is missing.

Questions

Can anyone guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my business?

No. Nobody outside the AI companies controls what they answer. What you control is whether your facts are easy to read and correct. That is what makes being named possible.

Why does the answer change each time I ask?

AI answers are generated fresh and can differ between tools, days and people. One check is a snapshot, so repeat it monthly.
